About

Yashika Sikka is a versatile Indian playback and independent singer whose voice carries a rare blend of depth, emotion, and cultural richness.

With training in Indian classical music and a decade-long journey of perseverance, she has emerged as one of the most promising voices in the contemporary Indian music landscape. Her most recognized track is “Tu Kya Jaane”, composed by the legend A.R. Rahman, from Amar Singh Chamkila directed by Imtiaz Ali. She has also sung “Sayaani” composed by Amit Trivedi for Pad Man (directed by R. Balki) and “Kundali”, also by Amit Trivedi, for Manmarziyaan (directed by Anurag Kashyap). Expanding her reach to South Indian cinema, Yashika recorded the Hindi version of the viral hit “Tum Tum” from the film Enemy. Alongside her playback career, Yashika is steadily building an independent repertoire that reflects her artistic voice and versatility. Her notable independent tracks include “Khaare Raste” (composed by Raghav Kaushik), “Faraar,” “Aadhe,” “Na Tum Samne,” “Aur Behtareen,” “Dooriyaan Qareeb”, among others. Each song showcases her ability to move seamlessly between genres — from heartfelt ballads to experimental contemporary sounds.
