On 3 October 2026, Snehdeep Singh Kalsi brought his India Tour 2026 to The Piano
Man, Gurugram, for an evening that moved through Ghazal, Sufi, Classical and
Folk music with an ease that made the different traditions feel like parts of
the same conversation.
It was Snehdeep’s first performance at The Piano Man Gurugram. By the end of the
night, however, the room felt remarkably familiar. From the opening notes of
Raag Des to the warmth of Kesariya Balam and the poetry of Mehfil, the audience
was completely in sync with the music.
Snehdeep’s live repertoire has a way of moving between moods without losing its
centre. The evening travelled from the quiet depth of Classical music into the
emotional world of Ghazal, then opened up through Folk and Sufi influences. A
special piano-led Ghazal Medley brought an intimate pause to the evening, while
songs such as Paar Chana De and Raavi added a deeper, more expansive quality to
the performance.
There was no single mood that defined the night. That was precisely what made it
work.
The defining moment, however, came from the audience. They sang along to every
single line.
What might have been familiar songs became shared experiences as voices from
across the room joined Snehdeep on stage. The response grew throughout the
evening, eventually leading to audience requests and an extended encore. The
music continued, the room kept asking for more, and the planned ending became
less important than the feeling that nobody quite wanted the night to stop.
Snehdeep later described the Gurugram audience as one of the best crowds he has
ever performed for, calling the night an unexpectedly memorable experience and
expressing his desire to return soon.
Joining Snehdeep was his six-piece live band, featuring Rusheel, Surjeet Singh,
Hiren Solanki, Shashi Bhushan and Rajat Patel. Their arrangements gave the
evening its musical depth, allowing Snehdeep’s voice to move naturally across
Classical, Ghazal, Folk and Sufi influences while retaining the intimacy of a
live mehfil.
The Piano Man’s setting added to that feeling. Close enough for the poetry to be
heard, yet alive enough for the audience to become part of the music, the venue
gave the performance a sense of closeness that stayed throughout the night.
Every city gives a tour something different. Gurugram gave India Tour 2026 a
crowd that sang back.
It was Snehdeep’s first night at The Piano Man Gurugram, but the response made
it feel like the beginning of something rather than a one-off stop. A night of
music became a night of participation, with an artist, five musicians and a room
full of listeners finding the same rhythm.
Somewhere between the poetry, the melodies and those spontaneous voices from the
audience, the concert became what a true mehfil is meant to be: music shared,
not simply performed.
